About Us

My name is Andrew Cureton, and I’m the founder of Neuro-D.
I have ADHD and autism, and it’s through my own personal struggles—as well as the experiences of friends and family—that I was inspired to create Neuro-D.

While I faced learning difficulties in school, which I eventually overcame, it’s in the workplace where the greatest challenges have persisted. An estimated 1.6 billion neurodivergent people around the world face similar barriers. Unlike physical disabilities, neurodivergence often lacks visible markers, and as a result, the appropriate supports are rarely in place.

Personally, I’ve been let go or terminated from jobs due to discrimination against my disability. My ADHD affects my short-term working memory and executive functioning, which can make everyday work tasks more difficult. This has made me feel inadequate at times—especially when I couldn’t perform at the same pace as others. It also led people to wrongly assume I was less intelligent, which was both frustrating and deeply disheartening.

Through Neuro-D, I hope to make a meaningful impact on the world.
I want people like me to feel seen, heard, and validated. I want to inspire companies and organizations to not only value but actively support their neurodivergent employees. Most of all, I want to help our neurodiverse community feel empowered and accepted in society.
