Introducing The Neuro.D Movement!!!

Welcome to the Neuro.D Movement!!!—an evolving community dedicated to making neurodivergent experiences visible, valued, and understood. I believe in the power of a simple, clear symbol—a brain surrounded by outward arrows—to represent the many directions and strengths of neurodivergent minds. By displaying this symbol, you’re helping to create a world where neurodiversity is recognized and respected everywhere.

Why standardize globally? Because having a universal sign—like the wheelchair symbol for physical accessibility—makes it easier for people everywhere to recognize neurodivergent-friendly spaces and communities. I'm working to gain letters of support, encourage people to display the symbol, and follow steps to get it recognized internationally.

II invite you to join me and the rest of the WORLD!!! : whether you’re adding the Neuro.D sticker to your door or supporting our push for global recognition, you’re part of this movement to make a more inclusive world.

Here is a template that you can use to email your letter of support:

Subject: Support for the Neuro.D Symbol as a Global Accessibility Standard

Dear Neuro.D Team / Standards Committee,

I’m writing to show my full support for the Neuro.D symbol to become the internationally recognised sign for neurodiversity inclusion.

As someone who [is neurodivergent / supports neurodivergent people / works in an inclusive organisation], I believe having one clear and universal symbol will help raise awareness, reduce stigma, and make public spaces, workplaces, and services more accessible for everyone.

The Neuro.D sign represents visibility, understanding, and acceptance — and I stand behind its global recognition and standardisation through Standards Australia and ISO.

Thank you for leading this movement toward a more inclusive world.

With respect,
